Apparently the weather isn’t going to stop us this week so the game should be on. If the game is cancelled we will meet back at Soccer Village for another hour’s training sessions like last week.

I’ve made a 2 minute video for this show which shows me playing the
“nose trumpet” which is a squeeky instrument I invented at school.

Drama in the League!

This is hot news just in from a certain Mr. Nuttall
Details are very sketchy at the moment so this message will probably need updating in the coming days but here’s what I jotted down when Nutty phoned me with the news. Disclaimer: I may have gotten the 2 team names mixed up.

The Dog & Partrdige reserves were playing the Bay Horse this weekend. The Dog & Partridge were 3-2 up and the Bay Horse were down to 9 men. The referee was allegedly on the receiving end of some hostile treatment and he ended up running away and is expected to file a report to the FA and the team in question could be ejected from the league.

Andy Nuttall is Banned!!

After careful consideration we have decided to BAN Andy Nuttall from posting on this site. He was just too cool for his own good and made the rest of us look gay. Obviously, I’m joking (Nutty? Cool? No way!) but he really has been banned from this site by his company’s IT guy who has apparently blacklisted this site for him. That’s a shame as he was quite a prolific commenter. Apparently, you can get around this kind of thing. I’m looking into it and we’ll hopefully have Nutty back amongst us soon.

End of Season Bash

This just in from Orchy…

Just to let you all know that the end of year presention do has been booked for Saturday 2nd June 2007 @ Royton Band Club! Hot buffet and DJ sorted.
We will be looking to fill the room for the evening so we would like people to sell tickets to friends & family. Please try and keep this date free in your busy diaries to make our 2007 presention a great sucess (if we get to play all our games !!!!!)

Players will be to expected to contribute towards raffle prizes… Will discuss with you all soon.

No Game For 2 Weeks

There is no game this Sunday due to bad weather. There is no game next Sunday due to a gap in the fixtures. There is no game last week due to it being New Years eve. There is no game the week before due to it being Christmas eve

Folk are meeting in the Turks on Sunday to watch Man Utd Vs Aston Villa.
Meanwhile Oldham will be top of the league and in the next round of the FA cup before the Turks play again. If that doesn’t happen Gooders vows to jog to the tandle hills monument and back.

Finally on line, have been reading with intrest all comments that have been made and will take all on board some with a pinch of salt.

Training starts again on thursday and want to see as many there as possible ! We will train first football later. Broomy has promised me that he will be there on thursday….But failing that i will take training.

Hope yo have not endulgued much on turkey and mead.
